A Christmas tale:
Bailiffs clamped my motability car and
demanded £1,300 (!) for 2 parking tickets. Despite explaining that
I was a disabled single parent, he refused
to enter a reasonable agreement; demanding half there and then and
the other half in 28 days.
I looked on the internet and found your site and, although
worried at first that I might be losing money I could ill afford, your
site impressed me and I decided to take a chance so I emailed you. You emailed
back very promptly and told me what action to take. This stopped the bailiff
action while it was being processed. You then gave me further advice and
within 7 days of first contacting you, I had a letter from the courts to
say the warrant had been suspended … and with it all bailiff action.
Later, I received a letter saying I only needed to pay the two PCNs, not
the bailiff fees on top.
Despite it being the Christmas period, you were most helpful; telephoning
or emailing me to let me know you were dealing with the matter, and again
to let me know how things were progressing. This was very reassuring; it
was a great relief to know that I no longer had to deal with bailiffs or
worry about the car being clamped and of course saving
the £1,300 was a huge burden lifted from my chest.

I must admit that I was a bit dubious at first when browsing your website because your service seemed too good to be true but after the first minute of our initial contact I could tell you were a genuine person.
You dealt with my problem swiftly and worked late into the night on my behalf, you returned my calls as and when you said you would and always kept me informed on the law regarding what bailiffs can and can't do as and when any letter or visit happened.
Unlike a certain government department or charity (which has a three letter name beginning with C and ending in B) who advised me incorrectly, you knew your stuff and had I have followed their advice, I would have lost everything. You have made me aware of my rights as a vulnerable person.

Hello John - I wanted to bring you up to date with what has happened since I acted on your advice.
Before I called you, I tried to get an appointment with the CAB, phoning every day for two weeks and each time getting an answer machine message saying that I had phoned outside of office hours - I hadn't. I suppose that they are just too busy to answer the phone.
When I looked on the internet and read about other people's experiences my blood ran cold. It seems that bailiffs' often criminal behaviour was legitimised by our local authorities. I was worried about the effect on my family of having a bailiff and the threatened van and locksmith at the door.
When I contacted you, you were as good as your word - you responded quickly to my emails and telephone messages and provided me with the right ideas words to use in my communications to the Council and the bailiff.

I was in a real state; the bailiffs wanted £650 for a parking fine I had no idea I had. I had all the usual threats i.e. we'll take the van away, forced entry, etc.

John, I have to admit that at first I was sceptical about your website. You see plenty of scam sites hoping for you to hand over your cash for something of no value...in the end I called you, questioned your money-back guarantee and have not regretted doing so in the slightest.
With your help, I was able to have the bailiff simply leave my house quietly with his tail between his legs having barely said a word to him and have my fine returned to the court where it belonged.... Having bailiffs threatening locksmiths for missing a £10 payment is ridiculous.

I had a letter from the council this morning saying they are placing all recovery action on hold and will allow direct payments against the arrears. This means I don't have to pay baliff fees, LOL!
My old friend (the bailiff) didn't show up on Friday, so I'm guessing this was why.

I had High Court bailiffs coming to my house over a County Court Judgment that I didn’t even know that I had and I received threatening letters and phone calls as a result. I actually felt physically sick. I couldn’t afford a solicitor and didn’t know what to do, so I just started googling trying to find information and advice about bailiffs.

I had changed address and so had no way knowing about a couple of parking tickets that I was never given the chance to either defend or pay. The response by the bailiffs was disproportionate to the original fine and was nothing more than an attempt to intimidate me into paying amounts that bear no relation to the original debt.
In these circumstances, I am grateful for John’s calm advice about my legal right to use the court system to reverse the clock back to the time when the original ticket was issued. The by-product of this is that bailiff action must be cancelled.

I had a bailiff turn up at my house demanding £460 for a £60 parking ticketand he was only giving me 7 days to make payment or he would come in to remove my goods.
I will be honest; when I first read the home page I thought this could be a scam to get money from vulnerable people and thought I could send money off and never hear anything again.
Deciding to take a punt, I phoned John anyway. He listened to my situation and then advised me of what the bailiff could do or couldn’t do by law. He even emailed me a document which was titled 'What to do when a bailiff calls' and advised me to hang this on the back of my front door until I received notice that the warrant was cancelled.
Sure enough, within an hour John was texting, phoning and emailing me for more information specific to my case so that he could help me construct the necessary paperwork to get the warrant cancelled and also to question and challenge the bailiff's £400 fees.

Bailiffs clamped my wife's car without any notice at about 11am on a Thursday. Only then did they then called her, threatening all sorts, like breaking the locks of our home and coming back with a policeman to let them in.

I'd had a card from a bailiff company pushed through my letterbox saying bailiffs were going to be paying me a visit the next day to remove goods.

After trying to sort my problems out for myself, without any success, a bailiff visit was looming, I really did not know what to do. I decided to look on the internet to see if there was any one who could help me, that’s where I came across John.

The bailiff called me about my unpaid council tax and told me that he had a warrant that would allow him entry into my house to remove goods. He told me that he was allowed to enter by force because he had a walk-in possession order so he could break his way in, even if I was not at home. He also said that he would clamp my car. I don't mind admitting, I was thoroughly frightened and immobilised by his harsh manner.
I called John who immediately put my mind at ease by explaining that he was not allowed to enter by force and that he would be breaking all sorts of rules if he did.
The bailiff company were faxed and emailed to ask the case be put on hold pending me coming up with evidence that I am a single mother on state benefits with an under-age daughter at home and therefore exempt from enforcement action. A full breakdown of the bailiff's fees was asked for.
An hour after the fax was received, the bailiff phoned me to say that he is coming into my house using force if necessary and will be taking my car. I asked him if he got the fax and as well as telling him that the warrant was unenforceable due to having a 16 year-old girl alone in the house. Bailiff replied: I don't care - it makes no difference to me at all. I'm coming anyway to take your things. This left me extremely worried, but John saw me through quickly, efficiently and calmly.
